All About My Day | 300814 ♡

Hello friends!! Welcome back to my blog!!:-) Today I’m going to talk about what happened on Saturday ok!!! Wanted to blog about it yesterday but felt like it was too much to have 2 posts in a day again HAHAHAHAHAHA ANYWAYS if you didn’t know already, my tuition starts at 9am on Saturdays and ends at 12 noon – 12:30pm depending on how long my break is!! I was supposed to meet Nicole at 1pm at Clementi Mall but my tutor released me late AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH and also, HAPPY LITTLE PILL CAME ON THE RADIO AND I CRIED and my tutor was like ok….

Welps we studied awhile at Burger King and then went to the Clementi Sky Park to take our ootd photos! You can view the candid shots here and my actual post here.

FAMILY DINNER
So every Saturday, my family has dinner together outside and usually it is somewhere along the row of food shops/restaurants at Chun Tin Road because it’s very near my house! Sometimes we have Teochew Porridge or we pack chicken rice home, but that day we ate at Superior Kway Teow Soup. I actually really like eating there because it’s never as crowded as the teochew porridge place and the food’s not bad at all.

Whoop whoop I ordered Penang Beef Kway Teow!! Usually I order mee pok AHAHAHAHAHHAHAA but I’m starting to get bored of it bc I order it literally every week and sometimes I order the XO fried rice too which is really yummy and my brother eats that all the time.

And my family likes to order side dishes sometimes and we ordered the prawn paste deep fried chicken and the you tiao but the plate of you tiao was half gone already when I wanted to snap a photo 😦 so I guess that only proves how good it is?? Ahahahahah the prawn paste chicken isn’t bad honestly but I really miss the one from xiang gang jie (used to be at clementi but idk where it went and I’m sad bc their fried rice and hor fun was good too)

Oh and they also have jelly over there so after eating my brother takes the jelly and we all share it bc come on we can’t all have one bowl of jelly each that’s like too much but the jelly is really yummy too!!!!!!

Chocolates!!! + Family Lunch

Hello friends!!! I’m finally done with prelims woohoo!!! O levels here we come!! Anyways remember how yesterday I bought chocolates?? Well yeah I saw this kinder chocolate thing and was really curious and decided to get it and I ate it this morning!!

I was really wondering if it would be like super yummy or something but turns out it’s just milk chocolate inside normal chocolate and mind you, I’m not a big fan of normal chocolate lolololol so this was kind of a big let down for me. I definitely much prefer the kinder bueno thingies

AND I had to eat my favourite chocolate too right?!

SO I DID. Baeeee ❤ lololololol I REALLY LIKE IT OK. ITS MY LIFE. ITS EVERYTHINg.

Ok I guess you guys are really annoyed by how much I rave about the green tea kit kat already, so moving on!!

After my science paper, I went for lunch with my family at Two Chefs! I really like eating at Two Chefs!! Super yummy

Oh and if you go there you have to try the Butter Pork Ribs (my family calls it milk powder pork ribs but I think on the menu it says butter pork ribs or milk butter pork ribs I really dk) because it’s REEEEEAAAAAALLLY GOOOOOOD like seriously, me and my brother can just eat one plate of it by ourselves. Heck, if I was even allowed to, I would eat the entire plate myself ok. That’s how good it is.

Mini shopping spree!!

Hello friends!!:-) Before anything else, i posted my mini haul post here in case you want to know!! Anyways, today I went on a little shopping spree with Jiahong wheeeeeeeeee!! Because well listening compre ended so early and yep AHAHAHAHHAA

Woots macs breakfast (and guys idk if it just me but I think I eat pretty slow compared to my friends:-( )

And then I met this girl for a meetup (she bought harry potter rings) and OMG she’s the nicest HAHAHAA she keeps telling me “all the best for my O’s” and she’s really really sweet and understanding!! Plus pretty also sia HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Anyways after that I went to clementi mall to find things to get for Berlin’s bday present, which I shall not be revealing for now lololol BUT I went to NTUC and got this

Green Tea Cream obsession

Hello friends!!! OMG today’s Amath paper was SO hard. To me at least. It was harder than paper 1 lolol.

Anyways I think i have an unfortunate obsession with green tea cream frappe rn. Why unfortunate? Because my money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when I drink rich drinks like these, I tend to get a headache and possibly migraine. Um which is obv not good but does that stop me from buying and drinking (the venti size, mind you) it? No it doesn’t. Halp people I’ve been sucked into a bottomless pit of green tea cream frappe deliciousness!!!!!! 😦

Anyways tmr I’m going to bugis with Jiahong and I really hope I don’t end up going somewhere else just to get this piece of shit because this is really not doing any good to me but it’s addictive ok and I hope I get some really good buys tmr!!! Oh and I have a meetup tmr too woohoo yay for $5??? HAHAHAHAHAA the girl wanted the Harry Potter rings I was selling on Carousell and she thought the pic I uploaded was not taken by me and I was shocked lololol but this is not the first time it’s happened so why am I surprised again??

ON A SIDE NOTE, Ohhgwen is going to sponsor me 3 items and I’m really excited for them to arrive yay!!!!!! I really really like the things they sell so yep I can’t wait!!

Yay for parcels!!

Hello friends!!! 2nd blogpost of the day. You guys probably think I’m crazy by now??? Like Marie?! 2 blog posts in a day?! It’s your O level year shouldn’t you be studying?! Yesyes hold your horses people I’ve been doing Amath literally the whole afternoon I really need to take a break ok.

ANYWAYs today I received my parcel from Pyzis (here’s their Instagram and Carousell) which I will blog more about over the weekend on my fashion blog

I’m actually quite excited about it and I’ve already come up with a few ideas for these accessories!!:-) Especially love the infinity bracelet bc rhinestones (who doesn’t love shiny AHAHAHHA)

Oh and has anyone tried Quinoa chips?! I’m like obsessed with them rn (credits to my tutor for sharing these with me and sucking me into this abyss)

I got them from Jason’s in case you were wondering. There’s one at orchard, sime Darby and sentosa cove. And I love the one at sentosa cove bECAUSE THERES A BAKERY THERE???? (Not sure if the orchard one has one too tho plus the fact that it’s in sentosa cove makes me feel so holiday-ish you all know I like to go on vacations and relax, a little too much lololol) Anyway ya bc sentosa cove is like really quiet and nice and relaxing I need to go there with my bf one day sia (hello if you’re reading this take note lolol) plus he likes to relax too so I guess it won’t be a problem for him?? Unlike most times he be like where are we going and I be like idk jurong? And he be like what else is there other than shopping? And I keep quiet and then he be like you see let’s go elsewhere. But I like doing nothing but he said he likes doing nothing (if I’m not wrong) but whY CANT HE JUST DO NOTHING WITH Me heeelllooooooo honestly I just want to do nothing with him lolol if I had a choice I’d bring him over to do nothing but my mum doesn’t allow friends over until I’m done with O’s so 😦 ok wow enough about him mOVING ON

My DPA got rejected so I’m really really disheartened rn:-(( bc it’s really hard to get into Business/Mass Comm so yeah but I’m trying not to think about it atm!!!!:-) just pushing on.

Is anyone else balding?

Hello friends!! Today I just want to have a little chat ok.

O levels have been really stressful recently. PRELIMS. Why. Let me tell you guys, I’m not a smart person lolol. I’m pretty dumb. All I’m asking for in Amath is a pass and I’m struggling ugh. HAHAHAHAHA (and if you’ve heard that my Emath is good, it’s because I put a lot of hard work into it ok that’s why all my other subjects are poop and even so my Emath isn’t that good there’s no way I’m getting an A1 in O’s but I like helping <C5 people in Emath because why not help people it's fun to help people plus if you are one of those people who needs help you'd want help too won't you)

Anyway, due to this irritating stress, I've been breaking out a lot. And I think this goes for quite a few other people as well. Personally, I tend to break out like, during the exam periods. MYE, EOYs. I always break out a lot during those periods. But this year I have been breaking out like the entire year and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing??? I mean bc it shows I care about my O’s right?? But I don’t like round red things on my face?? I mean sure round red things may be cute anywhere else but not on my face thanks!! tell me if you break out a lot too ok:-(( and if you do, c’mon join the club

And is anyone else like, balding too?! Bc I swear every morning I have to pull out like 20 strands of loose hair and it’s really starting to creep me out and I think it’s creeping my domestic helper out even more bc who wouldn’t be creeped out if you walk into a toilet and see 10000000000 strands of loose hair on the floor. And that’s only coming from one person

Yeah ok that is all for my unusually weird post. On a side note, my friend @bernanaaa on Instagram has started out a blog and her mum is selling rainbow cakes in a jar for $7 only!! And her mum makes great cakes ok. Ps you get to keep the jar. So that’s awesome. It’s like a new you robot you get except batteries are fucking included HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Go and give the girl some love ok<3 you can also order for your dearest teachers for teachers day!!

(On another side note, I just realised I studied with Nadine in the canteen where there is like, no signal so that’s probs why I managed to focus lololololol)

Why I Wear Makeup

Hello friends!! Today I’m gonna answer a common question I get: “why do you wear makeup so often?”

Many friends have told me that I should stop wearing so much makeup and so on, due to the negative impacts it will make on my skin. Other friends also tell me “God created your face, you should leave it that way” or something along those lines. I know that some friends know of my insecurities, but friends, I’ve pretty much gotten over that stage already. I think that I feel much better about myself now.

Then Marie, why are you still wearing makeup?!
Well, because I like using it. It is now certainly not due to the fact that I’m too afraid of others’ judgements. If you still don’t understand my point, maybe this will help paint a clearer picture: makeup is my paint, and my face is the canvas. PS yes I thought of it myself woohoo smarty me (and if you saw it somewhere else um then oops great minds think alike??)

Anyways, yes. I enjoy experimenting with all the different kinds of makeup and trying out new products. Creating new looks and seeing all the gorgeous colours!! (which is why I’m planning to start up a YouTube channel with fashion/beauty/misc)

Welp. I hope I’ve made it clear, that I’m perfectly fine with my facial features and that I simply have an undying passion for fashion and beauty. Hi guysssss!!! Woohoo I created a personal blog!! Yay for informality bc I’m gonna talk like all of you are sups close to me ok!!! I actually created this blog like, super long ago, but never got around to utilising it. Oh wells. Here we are now. Anyways today I went to U Town after church, with Vanessa (my bestie in case u didn’t know), to study. I have to say that studying with Vanessa is a lot less productive than studying with Nadine. So I should probably study more with Nadine (hi Nadine study with me if you’re reading this thanks love u). So I met this thing today. Hello Vanessa. Caught u being a narcissistic poop. Oh yeah and I got Mango Passionfruit juice from Starbucks todayzz

And Vanessa got Green Tea Cream Frappucino. And it tasted SO GOOd. Like green tea kit kat iN AQUEOUS STATE. (Hello chemistry) I think I’m gonna call it aqueous green tea kit kat from now on bc that’s eXACTLY WHAT IT TASTES LIKE. Oh yeah so my point was, I got green tea kit kat (aq) after finishing my mango Passionfruit juice. Am I crazy? Yes I probably am. But are you surprised? If you are then um where have you been?? HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHA
