It’s just the beginning

Hi guys!!! Haven’t blogged in a really long time:-( Really sorry about that. O’s have just been a pain in the butt.

Well, this is just gonna be an update for you guys on what’s been going on in my life etc 🙂

First things first, I haven’t updated my fashion/beauty blog for ages. 😦 Anyways, I already have a draft done up on that blog, ready to post but I just haven’t got the heart to post it 😦 Because I feel like it’s not my best work and I could’ve done better, and it’s not exactly something I wish to write about, from the heart. This has been getting me down lately.

In other news, I’ll be going to Australia!!!! yaysies!!!!! Ahahahaha from 18-23 November!! Really excited to be traveling again & don’t worry I’ll bring back lots of snacks for my dearest friends!!!! Also my YouTube channel should be up by then so I’ll be filming some vlogs while I’m there!! I’ll be going to 2 theme parks during my stay & staying in an apartment near the beach in Gold Coast 🙂 Really really excited!!! And also if you think there’s anything I should get while I’m in Queensland, leave a comment!!! Really wanna discover things and stuff like that HAHAHAHAHAHA

Aside from that, I’ve been reviving my shop!! For my actual online shop, I want to bring in some instocks rather than preorders because I feel like people don’t like to wait. However, those who for some reason like preorders can head down to my carousell to order!! Those I’m selling on carousell are not everything that I’m selling on my online shop after O’s:-) Preorder closes 11 November so hurry!!!

anyways, on Sunday I went to U town to study, as usual!!! I always study at the Starbucks there ahahahahah

(that’s my beloved green tea frappe) and the cashier spelled my name wrongly despite me spelling it out for him literally like M-A-R-I-E ok and he still spelled in marin and ok I totally understand if I didn’t spell it and you wrote Mary but hOW DOES ONE MISTAKE E FOR N. and really, Marin?????? I’ve heard Mary, mari, Maria but Marin is literally the first I’ve heard of. HUGE TURN OFF note to ppl: pls learn to spell ppl’s names

Pancakes | 080914 ♡

Hello friends!!! Finally back with a new post!! Yes I know it’s been like really long since I updated but this weekend has been pretty happening so I was really really tired and didn’t get a chance to blog. But now I do!!:-D

Anyways today mummy brought me to Nook, which is a pancake restaurant/cafe thingy! They let you DIY your pancakes and it’s really cool! I went after dropping my brother off at school for Volleyball practice.

It looked so vibrant and colourful and fun from the outside I just couldn’t wait to get in!!!!

The menu!!! Basically, you can choose your batter (which is $10) + 1 sweet topping (additional costs $1.50 per serving) and ice cream is $3! But they had this pancake buffet thing whereby each person gets to choose 2 bottles of batter (can be of different flavours) and then 8-9 sweet toppings will be laid out for you to help yourself. Not all the toppings will be laid out there. I think everything except the fruits will be there!:-) I had to pay $1.50 extra for the strawberries! For adults, it costs $12 and for students, it costs $10. So we decided to go for the pancake buffet because let’s be real, it’s so much more worth it.

(On a side note, they also have like actual pancakes and they sound really good but idk I haven’t tried although I really wanna try the rainbow pancake one it’ll be like so cool)

So these are the toppings laid out!!! (This isn’t all, didn’t manage to take the full picture!!)

Ok so me and my mum decided on the Original and Red Velvet flavours first.

I really wanted to draw a smiley face!!!! So cute right!! It looks just like me lololololololololol and although I knew it was gonna be messy, I decided to put a marshmallow bc it’ll be really cute.

See I told you it’ll be really cute but well the results weren’t so fantastic

butt (hahahaha I said butt) i found it really funny and I think it’s well worth it and I just might do it again the next time I go back.

I tried making a second smiley face but I kinda failed 😦

I FLOPPED EVEN WORSE AT FLIPPING THE DArn pANCAKE

You see the flopped pancake?? Ya that’s mine. The almost perfection one is my mum’s wHY IS SHE SO GOOD AT THIS??????????! (this is me losing it)

And then she started making weird shapes and stuff and she did this and I was like. What are you making?? I mean honestly does it not look like a pair of boobs??? lololol

I tried to do another smiley but I flopped. Again 😦 why am I still here

AND OMG THE DECORATIONS WERE SO ADORABLE

It’s really cool and also, outside the shop, there’s a wall of coloured pancakes which drove me absolutely nuts.

So yep that’s pretty much all about my day!!! In total we spent like $32?? HAHAHAAHAHA because me and my mum both got ice cream each. So that’s $12 + $10 + $6 (2x ice cream) + $1.50 (additional topping – strawberry) = $29.50 + $2.95 (10% service charge) = $32.45!! But well I think it was pretty worth it. It’s actually really fun and I’m considering bringing my bf there HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA so yep!!! Hope you guys enjoyed reading!!!! Mooncake Festival @ Gardens by the Bay | 050914 ♡

Hello friends!!! Finally back with a new post!! Yes I know I’ve been updating really slow compared to previously but well I’m trying!!:-)

Anyways, last Friday, I went to Gardens by the Bay for dinner + some mooncake festival thingy??? Idk but my mum wanted to use the lanterns but she forgot to bring the lighter so that was a flop. BUT I do have pictures!! There were lights and stuff! Super pretty!!!!!

Yep we had like rojak and I had chicken with rice for dinner. Idk I feel that the rojak at bukit timah food centre is sooooooo much better. The you tiao in the rojak was so not crispy and it was quite hard like stale bread :///////

The satay was good though!!!

And I’m just gonna spam the photos now (sorry I’m not putting much effort in this post because I’m so exhausted. Papers after papers after papers x.x)

Sweet Treats ♡

Hello friends!!! Welcome back to my blog!! As you might’ve known, I went convenience store shopping yesterday AHAHAHAHAHAA and I got some chocolates!!! Woohoo! I got those new kinds which I’m usually afraid to try but well we’ll never know whether it’s good until we try right!!

Oh and before anything else. Can we just talk about this teh tarik?? There’s this cafe on the top floor of Sime Darby centre (where Totts is) and the food there is really good and cheap ok. I usually eat the mee siam (on Fridays) or the nasi lemak there. And the teh tarik was only $1 AND IT WAs really good.

OK ON TO THE CHOCOLATES

Yes I also got my lovely green tea kit kat HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

These are the Cadbury Ritz Biscuits or something like that!! It’s basically normal Cadbury chocolate sandwiched between 2 mini rectangular ritz biscuits!! And I actually really like ritz biscuits HAHAHA this chocolate tastes like, a mix of sweet as salty(???) and I kind of like it??? It’s like French fries with ice cream!! HAHAHAHAA at least to me. But my tutor doesn’t like it but she likes fries and ice cream soooo. TO eACH’S OWN.

These are the Cadbury Milk Biscuits or something like that sorry guys I can’t remember these names HAHAHAHA so basically it’s the same thing as the ritz biscuit one except its milk biscuits!! My tutor really liked this one and I thought it was pretty good too

LAST BUT NOT LEAST is the Cadbury Oreo chocolate thing HAHAAHA I found this actually quite yummy!! It was good definitely, but not as good as the Hershey’s cookies and cream!! So yep. Don’t think I’ll repurchase this again bc there’s Hershey’s cookies and cream haahhaa

And does anyone else do this with their rollercoasters? please tell me I’m not the only one

All About My Day | 300814 ♡

Hello friends!! Welcome back to my blog!!:-) Today I’m going to talk about what happened on Saturday ok!!! Wanted to blog about it yesterday but felt like it was too much to have 2 posts in a day again HAHAHAHAHAHA ANYWAYS if you didn’t know already, my tuition starts at 9am on Saturdays and ends at 12 noon – 12:30pm depending on how long my break is!! I was supposed to meet Nicole at 1pm at Clementi Mall but my tutor released me late AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH and also, HAPPY LITTLE PILL CAME ON THE RADIO AND I CRIED and my tutor was like ok….

Welps we studied awhile at Burger King and then went to the Clementi Sky Park to take our ootd photos! You can view the candid shots here and my actual post here.

FAMILY DINNER
So every Saturday, my family has dinner together outside and usually it is somewhere along the row of food shops/restaurants at Chun Tin Road because it’s very near my house! Sometimes we have Teochew Porridge or we pack chicken rice home, but that day we ate at Superior Kway Teow Soup. I actually really like eating there because it’s never as crowded as the teochew porridge place and the food’s not bad at all.

Whoop whoop I ordered Penang Beef Kway Teow!! Usually I order mee pok AHAHAHAHAHHAHAA but I’m starting to get bored of it bc I order it literally every week and sometimes I order the XO fried rice too which is really yummy and my brother eats that all the time.

And my family likes to order side dishes sometimes and we ordered the prawn paste deep fried chicken and the you tiao but the plate of you tiao was half gone already when I wanted to snap a photo 😦 so I guess that only proves how good it is?? Ahahahahah the prawn paste chicken isn’t bad honestly but I really miss the one from xiang gang jie (used to be at clementi but idk where it went and I’m sad bc their fried rice and hor fun was good too)

Oh and they also have jelly over there so after eating my brother takes the jelly and we all share it bc come on we can’t all have one bowl of jelly each that’s like too much but the jelly is really yummy too!!!!!!

Chocolates!!! + Family Lunch

Hello friends!!! I’m finally done with prelims woohoo!!! O levels here we come!! Anyways remember how yesterday I bought chocolates?? Well yeah I saw this kinder chocolate thing and was really curious and decided to get it and I ate it this morning!!

I was really wondering if it would be like super yummy or something but turns out it’s just milk chocolate inside normal chocolate and mind you, I’m not a big fan of normal chocolate lolololol so this was kind of a big let down for me. I definitely much prefer the kinder bueno thingies

AND I had to eat my favourite chocolate too right?!

SO I DID. Baeeee ❤ lololololol I REALLY LIKE IT OK. ITS MY LIFE. ITS EVERYTHINg.

Ok I guess you guys are really annoyed by how much I rave about the green tea kit kat already, so moving on!!

After my science paper, I went for lunch with my family at Two Chefs! I really like eating at Two Chefs!! Super yummy

Oh and if you go there you have to try the Butter Pork Ribs (my family calls it milk powder pork ribs but I think on the menu it says butter pork ribs or milk butter pork ribs I really dk) because it’s REEEEEAAAAAALLLY GOOOOOOD like seriously, me and my brother can just eat one plate of it by ourselves. Heck, if I was even allowed to, I would eat the entire plate myself ok. That’s how good it is.

BUAAHHAHAHA guess today’s post was all food!! Tomorrow I’m planning to do another ootd post so stay tuned:-) and it’s going to be either tomorrow or Sunday that the post + the Pyzis sponsorship post will be up!’ So stay tuned!!:-) til next time dearies, keep dreaming ∞

Mini shopping spree!!

Hello friends!!:-) Before anything else, i posted my mini haul post here in case you want to know!! Anyways, today I went on a little shopping spree with Jiahong wheeeeeeeeee!! Because well listening compre ended so early and yep AHAHAHAHHAA

Woots macs breakfast (and guys idk if it just me but I think I eat pretty slow compared to my friends:-( )

And then I met this girl for a meetup (she bought harry potter rings) and OMG she’s the nicest HAHAHAA she keeps telling me “all the best for my O’s” and she’s really really sweet and understanding!! Plus pretty also sia HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Anyways after that I went to clementi mall to find things to get for Berlin’s bday present, which I shall not be revealing for now lololol BUT I went to NTUC and got this
